I remember when Kurt Cobain killed himself. I was living with my first serious girlfriend, who was absolutely devasted by the news. I didn't understand the intensity of her reaction at all at the time. And although I am not quite as emotional as my former lover was when Kurt died, I am deeply saddened by Heath Ledger's passing. He will be missed.

I just keep thinking about that last scene in Brokeback Mountain when he takes that shirt out of the closet.
He was a great great talent.
